Obituary

Ronnie William Briggs, of Mooresville, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023. He was the husband of the late Mary Darnell Briggs and the son of the late Norman and Ila Ellen Palmer Briggs.

He was retired as a programmer for Collins and Aikman, after forty years. Ronnie loved working and listening to music. He was a graduate of Dillon High School, class of 1959, and also graduated from technical school in Atlanta. He was of the Methodist faith.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by one son, Mike Briggs.

Ronnie is survived by his children, Ronda Briggs (Steve) Keller, Chuck (Sissy) Briggs, David Briggs, and Mark Briggs; eleven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one sister, Brenda (Jack) Stevenson; two half-brothers, James Humphries (LuAnn), Pat Briggs (Dawn); and an adopted brother, Kim Seals (Judy).

A celebration of life service will be held at Iredell Memorial Gardens on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at 1:00 pm with Rev. John Parks officiating.

Burial will follow in the Iredell Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
