Robert King Obituary

Robert “Harold” King, 91, of Troutman, NC, went to be with our Lord on May 13, 2021.

He was born in Nashville, TN, on June 9, 1929 to the late Finley B. King and Emma Mae Harris King. Harold served in the Army and was a proud Korean Veteran. He was a shift supervisor for Ferro Corp. for over 35 years. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church of Mooresville, NC.

Harold was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife, Dorothy June Whitt King, brothers, Finley King, Charles King and Edgar King and son, David Blaine King.

He is survived by his son, Robert Michael King (Vicki), daughter, Lisa Carol Adcox (Bill). In addition, Harold is survived by six grandchildren, Morgan, Zachery, Ashley, Blaine, Katie and Hannah and eleven great grandchildren, Riley, Ayla, Cody, Kinslea, Ivy, Josie, Ashlyn, Jocelyn, Jaxson, Lawson and Judah.

A visitation will be held at will be held at Troutman Funeral Home on Monday, May 17, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Graveside service will be conducted at Oakwood Cemetery on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at 3:00 PM with military honors.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Gordon Hospice House at 2341 Simonton Rd, Statesville, NC 28625.
