Lisa Ann Fox

Lisa Ann Fox, 51, of Statesville, passed away, Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at the Gordon Hospice House.

Lisa was born August 14, 1967 in Statesville, NC. She was a graduate of South Iredell High School, Class of 1985, and was the Assistant Controller of Manheim Statesville.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Melvin Fox and mother, Martha Ostwalt Fox Benfield of Troutman and special friend, Teresa Speaks Rimmer.

Lisa loved her family, friends and two dogs. Her happy place was on a beach in a hammock between two palm trees.

She is survived by one son, Tyler Atkins and wife, Amanda of Cleveland, NC; two grandchildren, Jaylynn Atkins, Camden Atkins; one brother, Charles M. “Chuck” Fox of Statesville; a nephew, Timothy Fox and great nephew, Layton Fox. She was preceded in death by a special friend, Teresa Speaks Rimmer.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. David Turner officiating. Burial will follow in the Iredell Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00pm at Troutman Funeral Home and at other times will assemble at Lisa’s home.
