Karen Arrington

Karen Darlene Sharpe Arrington, 68, of Statesville, passed away Monday, March 10, 2025, at the Gordon Hospice House.

Karen was born in Iredell County on August 14, 1956, to the late James Sharpe and Mary Ellen Windsor Sharpe. She was a member of Hebron Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Carol Sharpe.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 42 years, Lester Arrington; daughter, Krystal Arrington; son, Russell Arrington (Jenny); brothers, Dennis Sharpe (Alice) and Ron Sharpe.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, March 14 at Hebron Baptist Church with Rev. Jacob Scott officiating. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Hematology and Oncology Cancer Center, 3rd Floor, Medical Center Blvd., Winston-Salem, NC 27157.
