Faye (Felker) Duncan

Faye Felker Duncan, age 97, of Statesville, died on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at The Greens of Lincolnton.

Faye was born on October 6, 1926, the daughter of the late Essie May Seamon and Robert Felker of Davie County. She was the oldest of three children. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Elbert Duncan in 2010.  She was also preceded in death by her two brothers, Clyde Felker and Walter Felker. 

Faye was a woman of great strength, courage and wisdom. Born in the roaring 20’s, living through WWII and the Great Depression, Faye has seen many of history’s iconic moments.

To her friends and family, Faye had a wonderful sense of humor, a spirit filled with love and laughter, and a commitment to her family. In years past she was affiliated with Bali Industries in Statesville.  She was a gracious, kind lady who was loved very much and will be deeply missed.

Mrs. Duncan is survived by an only son Dean Duncan (Vickey), an only granddaughter, Catherine Myers Duncan Webb (Jeremy), and two great grandchildren, Walker Dean Webb and Palmer Louise Webb.

A private graveside ceremony will be held at Oakwood Cemetery. Troutman Funeral Home has been entrusted with her care and is honored to serve the family.
