Daniel "Dan" Cooper Obituary

Daniel James Cooper, 70, of Sherrills Ford, passed away, October 31, 2023 at Carolina Caring Hospice House in Sherrills Ford, NC.

Dan was born September 14, 1953 in Philadelphia, PA and was the son of the late William Charleston Cooper and Joan Doran Cooper. He attended the University of Delaware and on October 15, 1977, he married Nancy Schuler Cooper, who survives. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Denver, NC, was retired from Bojangles, Inc and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles Fan.

In addition to his wife, Dan is survived by three daughters, Rachel Ann Terrell (Donald), Rebecca Lynne Grobe (Nicholas), Danielle Gean Nowaskie (Matthew); eight grandchildren, Abigail Hayhurst, Anna Schuler, Hailey Terrell, Samantha Grobe, Cooper Grobe, Luke Nowaskie, Josephine Nowaskie, Daniel Terrell; two brothers, John Cooper, Billy Cooper and one sister, Donna Cooper. He was preceded in death by one sister, Karen McFadden.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
