Allan Baruch Bendel

Allan Baruch Bendel, 75, of Troutman, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2022.

Mr. Bendel was born March 17, 1947, in Brooklyn, NY, the son of the late Melvin and Florence Bloom Bendel.  Allan attended Valley Stream High School in Long Island and proudly served in the US Air Force. Allan was the co-owner of Lake Norman Orthotics and was a licensed orthotist until his retirement.  He was married to his beloved wife Carol Anne Lee-Bendel who survives.

Those left to cherish the life and memory of Allan Bendel, include his wife, Carol, his sons Daniel (Cathy) Bendel, Keith Bendel, and Marc Rezzoali, his daughters, Hallie Bendel and Janine Rezzoali, his grandchildren, Maya, Marissa, Ian, and Corrine, his great grandchildren, Malia, Jaxson, Penny, and Cora.  Survivors also include his brother, Kenny (Urmilla) Bendel, neice, Elizabeth Bendel and sister-in-law, Maryann Lee.

Allan enjoyed fishing with Daisy, boating with his wife, Carol and their beautiful home on Lake Norman.  He was funny, considerate, and loving with his family and friends.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, November 26, 2022, at Troutman Funeral Home. 

Those wishing to make memorials are asked to donate to the charity of the donor’s choice.
