William Jeffrey Weston

William Jeffrey Weston, 71, of Statesville, passed away on Friday, September 12, 2025, at Atrium Health – Wake Forest Baptist Hospital.

Jeff was born October 11, 1953, to the late Wesley Gilbert Weston and Beatrice Davidson Weston. He graduated from North Iredell High School and was a member of South River Baptist Church. He owned and ran his own business, Jeff’s Truck & Tractor Repair, which is now Jeff’s Machine Shop.

Jeff enjoyed working on old cars, hunting, discussing politics, mowing, and hanging out in his shop.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Patsy Shook Weston; son, Ashley G. Weston (Lorie); daughter, Erica W. Barnette (Shane); grandchildren, Bryce Weston, Carson Weston, Kylie Barnette, and Gavin Barnette. He is also survived by two nieces, two nephews, and numerous cousins.

In addition to his parents, Jeff was also preceded in death by his sister, Gay Mundy and his brother, Boyd Weston.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at South River Baptist Church with Dr. Chris Thompson officiating. The family will visit with friends prior to the service from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Bryce Weston, Carson Weston, Gavin Barnette, George Niblock, Jimmy Milholland, Hal Gibson, Harry Gibson, and Gary Stewart.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Missions Warehouse at South River Baptist Church, 2659 South Chipley Ford Road, Statesville, NC 28625.
