Mr. William Hugo Saul, 75, of Troutman, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2016.
He was born May 16, 1940, in Patterson, NJ to the late William and Alma P. Scheidler Saul.
Mr. Saul was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who loved spending time with his family. He was married to his loving wife, Marion, for almost 50 years and worked as a travel agent for TWA for 38 years. He was an avid fisherman, enjoying many fishing trips with his friends and, for years, was known as a devoted "Mets" fan.
Mr. Saul was a very strong man who his wife lovingly referred to as her "Hercules." He endured and fought bravely during the last few years and will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Marion; daughters, Carolyn (David) Bigley, of Tampa, FL and Stephanie (Michael) Gray of Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ; and grandchildren, Abby and Owen Bigley and Erica, Skylar, Derrick and Jake Gray.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Emelyn Hausserman.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Troutman Funeral Home. A private burial will be at a later date.
