William "Bill" Joseph Cavada

William “Bill” Joseph Cavada, 87, of Statesville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at the Gordon Hospice House.

Bill was born January 13, 1939, in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, to the late Joseph Cavada and Mildred Kramer Cavada. He was a veteran in the US Army and was employed by Charlotte Liberty Mutual Insurance.

Left to cherish Bill’s memory are his wife, Blanche Elaine Baxter Cavada, his son, Carmen Joseph Cavada, and wife, Renae, and his sister, Joyce Gentilo.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 30, in the Troutman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Max Hayes officiating. The family will visit with friends prior to the service from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery.
