Wendy Kay Josey

May 26, 1962 - August 5, 2013 Wendy Kay Josey, 51, of Troutman, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2013. She was born in Melbourne, Florida on May 26, 1962 to Billy and Patricia Josey. She was a graduate of South Iredell High School. Wendy was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt. She loved many and was loved by many. She is survived by her sons, Daniel Wilson and Dennis Wilson of Troutman; daughter Jennifer Benfield of Troutman; sister Cindy Abshire of Pounding Mill, VA; and four grandchildren Zoe, Zach and Zander Benfield, and Peytin Wilson. She was preceded in death by her sister Karen Elaine Josey Hall. A visitation for family and friends will be held at Troutman Funeral Home on Friday, August 9, 2013 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service beginning at 7:00 p.m. officiated by Rev. Connor Lambert. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Troutman Church of God, 478 S. Main St. Troutman, NC 28166. Troutman Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Wendy Kay Josey.
