Warren Alfred Musick

August 29, 1947 — November 16, 2025

Statesville

Warren Alfred Musick, 78, of Statesville, passed away Sunday, November 16, 2025, at his home, surrounded by loved ones. He was a devoted family man and beloved member of his community.

Warren was born August 29, 1947, in Phillipsburg, NJ, to the late John Peter Musick and Viola Eva Groff Musick.

In addition to his parents, Warren was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 44 years, Donna Lynn Martin Musick, and his siblings, Michael Musick, Mary Dean and Susan Cuff.

Warren’s life was forever changed in 2018 when he lost the love of his life, but he carried her memory with him every day. He found strength, purpose and joy in his family; especially his treasured grandchildren, Eric and Emmaline, whom he adored with all of his heart. There was no prouder grandfather, and no one who lit up quite the way Warren did when he spoke of them.

Warren loved staying active by working out daily at the gym and by maintaining his home and yard, doing both consistently until the last few months. And no matter the day, he always made time for his beloved New York Giants.

Warren was also a deeply faithful man who found comfort, community and companionship at Beulah Baptist Church. His church family meant the world to him, and he cherished the fellowship, friendships and spiritual home he found there.

Warren will be remembered for his gentle heart, his steadfast love for his family and his quiet but unwavering faith. His legacy lives on in the lives of those he touched with kindness, with loyalty, with the desire to serve and with the kind of love that remains long after he has gone.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Valerie Roemer; son, Warren Musick (Brooke); grandson, Eric James Roemer, Jr.; granddaughter, Emmaline Rae Musick; brother, John Musick (Linda) and numerous other in-laws, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, November 23, at Beulah Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Burgess officiating. The family will visit with friends prior to the service from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. A private burial will be at a later date.
