Wanda (Hoover) Strickland

Mrs. Wanda Hoover Strickland, 69, of Statesville, passed away, Sunday, December 27, 2020 at VA Hospital in Salisbury, NC.

Mrs. Strickland was born September 10, 1951 in Asheboro, NC and was the daughter of the late Leroy and Vilene Spivey Hoover. She was a graduate of Asheboro/ Randolph County Schools and served in the US Navy. She is married to Phillip Ray Strickland, who survives and together they were both members of Fallstown Baptist Church and American Legion Post 65.

In addition to her husband, Wanda is survived by two children, Tonya Parker (Read) of VA, Chris Loflin (Sherry) of NC; 10 grandchildren, Austin, Aaron, Ashley, Abigail, Dylan, Devlon, Jessie, Cheyenne, Madi, Triston and six great grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be 2:00pm Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Fallstown Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor David Troutman officiating.
