Walter Lee Little

April 2, 1946 - Sept. 12, 2013 Walter Lee Little, 67, of Statesville, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at Presbyterian Hospital in Huntersville. He was born on April 2, 1946 in Iredell County to Rachel Hager and Walter Junior Little. Lee served our country honorably in the U.S. Army and especially loved boating, mowing grass and playing with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Jeanie West Little; sons, Heath (Tonya) and Jerrod (Sarah) Little, both of Statesville; brothers, Lesley (Nancy) and Fred (Kathy) Little, both of Statesville; and five grandchildren, Skylar, Celeste, Sadie, Callie and Noah Little, all of Statesville. The family will receive friends from 2 - 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 15, 2013 at Mountain Road Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at the church on Monday, Sept. 16 at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Jamie Fox officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service in Iredell Memorial Gardens.
