Walker Elmer Wilson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Walker Elmer Wilson, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, who passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024, at Iredell Memorial Hospital.

Walker was a graduate of East Bank High School and WVU Tech. He was known for his kindness, sense of humor and work ethic.

He is survived by his loving wife, Betty L. Wilson; children, Cynthia L. Witt of South Charleston, WV, Tammy Wilson of Mooresville, NC, and Wayne Wilson (Bonnie) of Troutman, NC; grandchildren, Jami Witt-Lewis and John L. Witt, III of WV, Avery Wilson of MA, Cecil Wilson of WI, Tony Tarini and Gabrielle “Brie” Thomas of NC; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 21 at 3:00 pm at Troutman Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Jeff Spry.
