Viola Thompson

Viola Allison Thompson, 81, of Troutman, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2022, at Gordon Hospice House.

Viola was born on June 6, 1941, in Iredell County to the late James E. Allison and Zella Lambert Allison. She was retired from ESC in Troutman and Shoney’s.

In addition to her parents, Viola was preceded in death by her son, Danny R. Thompson, grandson, Lonnie G. Welborn, Jr and brothers, Johnny R. Allison and James H. Allison.

Viola is survived by her children, Debra Welborn (Lonnie) and Donnie C. Thompson, sisters, Nellie A. Beckham (Frank), Nancy A. Harris, Margie A. Lyerly (Michael) Wanda E. Eastridge (George), June A. Laws (Craig), brothers, Edwards Leon Allison and Paul E. Allison (Rose). Also surviving is the father of her children, Paden M. Thompson.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 pm, Wednesday, June 29 at Troutman Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior. Reverend Conner Lambert will be officiating the service.
