Vicki Harris Brown

Vicki Harris Brown, age 68, of Statesville, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2026, following a brief illness. Born in Iredell County, NC, on November 10, 1957, she was the wife of the late Paul Stanford Brown and the daughter of the late Francis Odell Harris and Delois Bostian Harris, who survives.

Vicki was retired as a cafeteria worker with the Iredell Statesville School System and also worked at Iredell Memorial Hospital in the Pink Tea Room. She was a member of New Bethany Baptist Church and was a graduate of West Iredell High School. She enjoyed working with various crafts, painting, collecting baby dolls, and dearly loved her dogs.

Vicki is survived by her daughter, Delisa Koepnick; her mother, Delois Harris; one aunt, Peggy Taylor; a special cousin, Lisa Hockenberry (David); a nephew, Shane Keith Harris (Amber); and a niece, Melissa Christie (Jerry). Several other nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

In addition to her father and her husband, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Keith Eugene Harris.

No services are planned at this time per the families’ wishes.

The family requests that memorial donations be made in Vicki’s memory to Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County 2347 Simonton Rd Statesville, NC 28625.
