Timothy "Tim" Albert Williams

Timothy “Tim” Albert Williams, 64, of Statesville, passed away, Monday, February 28, 2022, at the Gordon Hospice House.

Tim was born June 5, 1957, in Iredell County and was the son of the late Albert and Shirley Hedrick Williams and he was proceeded in death by one sister, Pam Williams.  He was a graduate of Iredell County schools and married Rhona Moose Williams, who survives.

Tim worked at G.L. Wilson construction as a supervisor.  He was very knowledgeable about building and craftsmanship.  He loved the outdoors including fishing and camping along with many other activities that were out in nature.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his son Christopher Bolick (Sonja), his daughter Jennifer Ayers (Michael), grandson, Michael Ayers, Jr., great-grandson, Landon; sisters Marilyn Mahaffey (Joe), and Debby Waugh (Garfield) and his brother Andy Williams (Tonya) and stepmother Shirley Williams.

Graveside funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Friday, March 4, 2022, at Concord Presbyterian Church with Rev. Stephen Pope officiating. The family will visit with friends following the service. Tim will lie in state Thursday, March 3, 2022, at Troutman Funeral Home from 2:00-5:00 pm.
