Timothy Dean Shumaker

Timothy Dean Shumaker, 62, of Statesville, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, February 18, 2021 at his home.

Born September 24, 1958 in Iredell County, he was the son of Ruth Drum Shumaker and the late Jimmie Tilford Shumaker. He was a graduate of North Iredell High School and before becoming disabled was a mechanic at Shumaker’s Service Station. Hunting and fishing were his favorite things to do.

In addition to his mother of Statesville, he is survived by a son, Dalton Lee Shumaker, a step-daughter, Chantelle Caban, his sister, Deborah Shumaker Hicks and husband, Richard Lee Hicks, and two nephews, Josh Randall Josey and Thomas Wesley Beaver.

A memorial service will be held on a later date.
