Timothy James Boatwright

Timothy James Boatwright, 53, of Hiddenite, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2024, at his residence.

Tim was born on July 31, 1970, in Broome County, New York and was the son of James R. Boatwright and Eleanor “Elley” Franchina Boatwright. He worked as a welder and enjoyed hunting, riding motorcycles, music and sunsets. Tim had a passion for making things right.

Tim was preceded in death by his niece, Jessica Boatwright Maher.

In addition to his parents, Tim is survived by his fiancé, Kathey Watson, of Hiddenite, brother, Joe Boatwright (Sandra), of Conklin, NY, nephew, James Boatwright, of Philadelphia, NC and many relatives in Georgia. Also surviving are his many friends and “brothers”, including Andy Booker.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date, in accordance with Tim’s wishes.
