Thomas J. Nicely

Oct. 14, 1956 - July 4, 2016 Mr. Thomas Joseph Nicely, 59, of Mooresville, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2016. He was born October 14, 1956, in Dayton, OH to the late Thomas Clinton and Guadalupe Scott Nicely. Tom was a devoted husband and father who loved spending time with his family. He was married to Martha Ortiz for 39 years and worked in construction as a Safety Director before his decline in health. He enjoyed shopping for antiques and had an eye for Classic cars. An avid Dallas Cowboys fan, he also enjoyed traveling and loved animals especially his own dogs. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Martha; son, Adrian of Mooresville; and brothers, James and Robert Nicely of El Paso, TX. Services are planned for a later date.
