Tamara Elizabeth Sheppard

October 26, 1965 - November 25, 2013 Tamara Elizabeth Sheppard, 48, of Troutman, passed away on Monday, November, 25, 2013, at Carolina Medical Center, in Charlotte. She was born in Newport News, VA, to Issac and Mary Greene on October 26, 1965. She worked at Wal-Mart in the Receiving Department for fifteen years. When she attended church, it was Troutman Church of God. During her time not working, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her compassion for people, always thinking of others, her smile, and love for the Lord. She is survived by her husband, Michael, and her two daughters, Cassie Sheppard and Heather (Jeremy) Summerford; four grandchildren, Skyler Sheppard, Nicholas Blankenship, Jakob Sheppard, and Lucas Summerford; and her brother, Tim Greene of New York. A visitation for family and friends will be held at Troutman Funeral Home on Friday, November 29, from 6 - 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 30, at Troutman Church of God at 2 pm. Interment will be in Iredell Memorial Park.
