Sue Miller Johnson, 82, of Statesville, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at her residence.

Sue was born in Kannapolis on June 15, 1942, to the late Donald Marsh Miller and Minnie Myrtle McClain Miller. She was a graduate of Scotts High School and a member of Monticello Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Edgar Johnson, and her brother, James R. Miller.

Those left to cherish her memory are a son, Keith Johnson of Statesville; daughter, LeAnn Dinwiddie (Keith) of Cape Carteret, NC; grandchildren, Crystal Friece (Tim), Jeremy Johnson, Tara West (Fred), Rachel Stanley (Rob), and Lauryn Carr (James); great grandchildren, Kylee, Maddison, Frederick, Piper, Cooper, and Caroline,

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 28 at 1:30 pm at Monticello Baptist Church, officiated by Pastor Terry Rausch. Burial will follow at Iredell Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm.
