Steven Michael Kinney

Steven Michael Kinney, 33, formerly of Mooresville NC, passed away unexpectedly May 25, 2023 in Pittsburgh, PA.

Steven was born December 10, 1989 in Statesville NC and was the son of Amy Jo Kinney Roeder of Mooresville, NC.  He was a 2008 graduate of Mooresville High School and served his country in the US Army.

In addition to his mother, Steven is survived by his immediate family, his three sons, Colin, Cameron, and Christian Kinney; brother Zachary Kinney; sister Zoe Hambley; an aunt Lynn Kordek, and cousin Timothy Fox.  In addition to his immediate family, Steven has a very large extended family made up of relatives and close family friends that loved and supported him throughout his life.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at Troutman Funeral Home from 5pm-7pm.

A graveside service will take place on Friday, June 2, 2023 at Iredell Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 1pm
