Stephanie B. Edwards

Stephanie Brown Edwards, age 54, of Troutman, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2023. She was the wife of Jim Edwards II and the daughter of the late Richard Steve Brown and Janice Settlemyre Brown.

She was a graduate of South Iredell High School and a member of South River Baptist Church. She was employed as a purchasing agent in the furniture industry, having worked for Thomasville Upholstery for several years and was currently with Ethan Allen Furniture. Stephanie enjoyed reading, loved animals, especially spoiling her two cats, loved the beach, and especially taking trips to Daytona Beach, FL. She dearly loved her family.

Stephanie is survived by her husband of 32 years, Jim Edwards II; one son, Joshua Edwards; one daughter, Jantzen Edwards; and her mother, Janice Brown. Also surviving are one brother, Richard Steve (Karen) Brown Jr; one sister, Tina Settlemyre; three nieces, Grace Brown, Faith Brown, and April Settlemyre; one great nephew, Easton Lunsford; two uncles, Robbie and Timmy Settlemyre; and one aunt, Cathy Carlton.

In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by both of her grandmothers, Helen Neill Brown and Hazel Louise Settlemyre; and one aunt, Billie Widener. Additional obituary information, including funeral arrangements, will be published as soon as it becomes available.

Services will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at Troutman Funeral Home beginning with a visitation at 1:00 with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 with Dr. Hampton Drum officiating. Burial will be after the service at New Perth ARP.

Serving as pallbearers will be Richard Brown Jr, Brad Clanton, Randall Perry, Spencer Bowman, Elijah Wells, and Joshua Edwards.
