Dean Overcash

Larry Dean Overcash, Sr., 61, of Troutman, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Iredell Memorial Hospital. He was born on May 6, 1951 in Iredell County to W.T. Overcash and the late Betty Lou Bass Overcash. Dean was a self-employed truck driver who enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He was loved by his family and will be missed. He is survived by his father, W.T. Overcash; his son, Larry D. Overcash, Jr. and wife, Kimberly, of Troutman; daughter, Amanda Gale Overcash of Taylorsville; brother, Tommy Overcash, of Statesville; sister, Barbara Overcash, of Mocksville; and four grandchildren, Gavin, Macy and Damien Overcash and Noelle Bowles. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 20, 2013 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Troutman Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 21, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Troutman Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Eddie Graham officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Iredell Memorial Gardens. At other times, the family will gather at the home of Larry Overcash, Jr., 110 Hanford Rd, Troutman, NC.
