Sherry Ann Frye

Sherry Ann Frye, 62, of Statesville, passed away, Friday, April 7, 2023 at the Gordon Hospice House.

Sherry was born February 24, 1961 in Iredell County and was raised by her grandparents Avery and Audrey Frye. She was a graduate of West Iredell High School and later worked for Gullistan Carpets, formerly J.P. Stephens.

She is survived by one daughter, Tracy Barker (Robert) of Union Grove; four grandchildren Colt, Taylor, Cody and Caleb Barker; two sisters, Sharon Johnson (Tony), Janice Starnes (Woody); significant other, James Griffie, several nieces and nephews and her four legged companion, Leela.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
