Shelva Setzer Lockamy

Shelva Setzer Lockamy, 88, of Statesville, passed away on Friday, June 20, 2025, at Gordon Hospice House.

Shelva was born February 17, 1937, to the late Jack Ray Setzer and the late Odessa Hartness Setzer. She graduated from Cool Spring High School.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Douglas Lockamy, Sr.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Janet L. Danyels (Alex); son, Robert “Doug” Lockamy, Jr.; grandson, Joseph Ray Lockamy; granddaughter, Tara Eades (Eric); great-grandchildren, Amalie Eades, Chandler Forrest, Caleb Forrest, and Jada Hughes; and sister, Deloris Swicegood (Billy).

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, June 23 at Troutman Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Pope officiating. The family will visit with friends prior to the service from 9:00 am until 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Iredell Memorial Gardens.
