Sharon Diane (Danyels) Mayberry

Sharon Diane Danyels Mayberry, 59, of Statesville, passed away, Friday, March 29, 2024 at her sister’s house.

Sharon was born June 29, 1964 in Iredell County and was the daughter of Connie Gilleland Baggarly and the late Stephen Grady Miller, of Harmony. Along with her mother, she was raised by her step-father James Henry Danyels (Nellie), who survives Olin. She was a graduate of Statesville High School and previously worked for Mocaro, Inc. in Statesville. Sharon cherished her friends, family and loved working in her flowers and sunshine.

In addition to her mother, step-father and step-mother, Sharon is survived by one son, James Bradley Mayberry of Statesville, two sisters, Susan Stroud (Randy) of Statesville, Misty Guillory (Adrien) of Statesville; one brother, Alex Danyels (Janet) of Statesville and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at Troutman Funeral Home with Rev. Stephen Pope officiating. Burial will follow in the Iredell Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday from 1:00-2:00pm prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County, Front Street Baptist Church and Calvary Baptist Church.
