Sharon Louise Joyner Krider

Sharon Louise Joyner Krider, 76, of Harmony, NC, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at Gordon Hospice House.

Born January 22, 1950, in Iredell County, she was the only child of Clay Elisha Joyner and Glenna Smith Joyner.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, William Keith Krider on April 18, 2012. They shared 21 years together.

Sharon was a member of the first graduating class of North Iredell High School. She was very independent and loved shopping.

Sharon lovingly cared for her parents and her husband until their passings and retired from Walmart in 2016.

She was a life-long member of Rock Spring Baptist Church, where she had served as the church treasurer until her health began to decline.

Those left to cherish her memory are her aunt, Bonnie Smith Laws; numerous cousins and her caregivers, David M. and Sue York.

The family will receive friends Sunday, August 30, 2026, from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Rock Spring Baptist Church.

The funeral service will begin at 3:00 PM with Rev. Randy Goodin officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Iredell County 2341 Simonton Road Statesville, NC 28625.
