Leigh Shive Guill

Leigh Shive Guill, 60, of Statesville, passed away Monday, July 6th, 2026, at the Gordon Hospice House, surrounded by the love of her family. Leigh was born November 25, 1965, to the late Alexander (Sandy) Morgan Shive Jr. and the late Peggy Jean (Compton) Shive.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Robbins Alexander Guill II and Brayden Lee Guill; her daughter, Lindsay Alford (Drew); and her grandchildren, Hazel and Palmer Alford. One brother, Charles Morgan Shive (Becky) also survives.

A graveside service will be held at Concord Presbyterian Church Cemetery Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at 10:00 am. The family will visit with friends at a private ceremony.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network 2101 Rosecrans Ave. Suite 3200 El Segundo, CA 90245 and to the Gordon Hospice House 2347 Simonton Rd Statesville, NC 28625.
