Saroj Rajapaksa

Saroj Rajapaksa, 74, passed away peacefully at home on June 25, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of strength, wisdom and kindness. He was born on December 1, 1950, to Colonel George Wilfred Rajapaksa and Kamala Rajapaksa. Saroj is survived by his loving wife, Priyam Rajapaksa; son, Dylan Rajapaksa; daughter, Nimisha Rajapaksa. He loved his wife deeply since he was young, a love that was steadfast and true throughout their lives together. His love for his family is a beautiful example of unwavering commitment and devotion. His voice brought calm, his presence brought strength. There will never be another like him.

He may have taken his last breath, but that was not his final moment. He is more alive now than he has ever been - standing in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He has been welcomed into a place where there is only peace, joy, and eternal life. His family will carry his memory, live by his example, and walk closely with the Lord until we are together again.
