Ruth Lloyd Little

Ruth Lloyd Little, 92, of Statesville passed away quietly Nov. 9 ^th at her home.  Mrs. Little was born in Iredell Co. 12-12-1927 and was the daughter of the late Fred and Maude Adams Lloyd.  She attended Celeste Henkel School and graduated through Mitchell Community College.  She was married to Charlie R. Little who preceded her in death Feb. 1980, along with her canine companion Harley.  She is survived by four daughters and one son, Elaine Wustrow, Gayle Cline (Tim), Janice Little, Beverly Murdock, Charlie R. Little, Jr. (Karen). She is also survived by a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom, loved her very very much.

She enjoyed more than anything riding on her lawnmower, cutting her grass and working outside in the yard.  She was an amazing and incredible woman and all those who knew and loved her are blessed to have had her in their lives. She will live on in the hearts of those lucky enough to have been able to call her: Mama, Grandmother and Friend.

Memorial services will be held 2:00pm Sunday, Nov. 15, 2020 in the Troutman Funeral Home Chapel. The family will speak with friends following the service.
