Ruth S. Beam

Ruth S. Beam, 92, of Troutman passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Iredell Memorial Hospital. She was born on November 27, 1923 in Iredell County to the late Charlie W. Settlemyer and Nora Brotherton Settlemyer. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jack R. Beam, and son, Lanny P. Beam. Ruth is survived by her brother, Steve B. Settlemyer and his wife, Marilyn Brawley Settlemyer, of Morganton and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A visitation will be held on Monday, April 11th from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. at Troutman Funeral Home, 345 N. Main St., Troutman, NC. Graveside services are planned for Tuesday, April 12th at 11:00 a.m. in Iredell Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Trent Patterson of Beulah Heights Wesleyan Church officiating.
