Ruby Levan Hartline

July 6, 1934 - December 21, 2016 Ruby Levan Hartline, 82, of Statesville, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at her home. She was born July 6, 1934 in Iredell County to the late Henry Levan and Lucille Shoemaker Levan. She was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Hartline, her brother, Floyd Levan, and two sisters, Marilyn Levan and Betty Steelman. Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Keith Hartline and Mark (Vicki) Hartline; sisters, Carolyn (Lawrence) Lambert and Helen Teague; three grandchildren, Maria Hartline, Laura Hartline, Matthew Hartline, and five great grandchildren. Ruby will always be remembered for being a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. The family will receive friends at Troutman Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, December 26, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at St. Michael’s Cemetery on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Larry Thompson officiating. The family would like to give a special thanks to Hospice of Iredell.
