Ronald (Ron) H. Waldron, 76, of Mooresville, died at his home on Saturday, April 28, 2012. He was born in Roanoke, Virginia.

Ron was employed with Atlantic Envelope in Charlotte for 35 years and enjoyed a lifelong passion as a gifted craftsman building custom homes and working on various other projects. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Lindsay Waldron; a daughter, Karen Scheld and husband, John, of Troutman; a son, Brian Waldron and wife, Angie, of Hickory; and the joys of his life, his grandchildren, Tyler and Ginny Scheld and Emily and Charlie Waldron. He is also survived by four sisters and one brother. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister. The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. on Sunday, April 29 at Troutman Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday in the Troutman Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will immediately follow the service at Catawba Memorial Park in Hickory.
