Ronald Beidelman

Ronald Curtis Beidelman, 80, of Statesville, NC passed away on May 29, 2024, at the Gordon Hospice House in Statesville. He was born in 1944, in Bethlehem, PA, to the late Paul Beidelman and the late Florence Beidelman.

Ronald graduated from the University of Colorado and served in the U.S. Navy. He married his wife, Cindy Meeker Beidelman on May 2, 1986. He retired from Northern Natural Gas in 2011.

He loved serving Jesus and wherever he lived he attended men's Bible studies and remained actively involved in various ministry opportunities through the church. He was passionate about short-term mission's and had the privilege of traveling to Honduras and Peru to serve. His hobbies included hiking, biking, archery, canoeing, fishing, and traveling.  Spending time investing in the lives of his children and grandchildren remained a priority to Ron, throughout his life.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Stephen Meeker (Jenny), Andrea Hendrickson (Mark), and Joshua Meeker (Karen); and nine grandchildren, Jonathan, Joseph, Noah, and Daniel Meeker, John Mark and AJ Hendrickson, Caleb (fiancé, Maddie Kurth), Josiah, and Jacob Meeker. He is proceeded in death by one son, Brian Beidelman and one sister, Ruth Ann Beidelman.

A celebration of life service will be on June 20th at 3:00 pm at Western Avenue Baptist Church, 1206 Museum Road, Statesville, NC 28625. A private burial will be conducted at Salisbury National Cemetery.
