Robert "Bob" James Morris

Robert “Bob” James Morris, 80, of Statesville. Passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family.

Bob was born on April 14, 1943, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Bob Cornelius Morris and Dorothy Padley Morris. He joined the love of his life Bobbie Christiansen in marriage on March 17, 1990. Robert retired from Milwaukee County as a corrections supervisor. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, gardening, gambling, playing games and spending time with family. He proudly served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam conflict.

Those left to cherish Robert’s memory include his wife, Roberta “Bobbie” Louise Davis Morris, his daughter, Wende Marie Goble (James), sons, Timothy Peter Christiansen, Harry James Christiansen (Elizabeth), his sisters, Peggy Marie Olsen (John), Patricia Ann Hood. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Ashley Dimond, Amber Christiansen, Aaron Goble, Nick Christiansen, Molli Goble, Alexis Christiansen, Elliott Christiansen and great granddaughter, Skylar Christiansen.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, January 5, 2024, at St. Paul Lutheran Church with Rev. Paul St. Clair officiating, visitation will be held prior, 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Burial will be held at a later date at Iredell Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
