Robert Lee White

Robert L. White, 86, of Statesville, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, February 27, 2022, after a short illness.

Robert was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and is survived by his wife of sixty-three years, Shirley Pardue White. In addition to his wife, he is also survived by his three children; Jeff White, Toni White Redmond (Steve), Teresa White Goodwin (Scott), six grandchildren; Stefanie Redmond Brown (Chris), Jessica Redmond Bentley (Tanner), Garrett Goodwin, Mackenzie Goodwin (fiancé, Holden Pender), Kris White, Kandace White and two great grandchildren, Bodhi Brown and Grayson Brown.

He retired from Southern Screw Company after thirty-nine years of dedicated service. Robert loved working in his garden and providing the fruits of his garden to his family and friends. He especially loved having his family around him as it continued to grow over the years. Robert attended Temple Baptist Church of Statesville.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 pm Wednesday, March 2 at Temple Baptist Church with Pastor Randy Mitchell officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior, 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Burial will follow the service at Moss Chapel Church Cemetery.
