Robert Adkins

Robert Allen Adkins, 92, of Statesville, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2024.

Born January 10, 1933, he was the son of the late Alvin Huey Adkins and Florence Mae Steele Adkins.

A veteran of the United States Army, he enjoyed gardening, canning food and working outside.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Leigh Brown Adkins; son, Neal Adkins; brothers, Kenneth and James Adkins; sister, Thelma Know.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Mike Adkins (Lauri), and stepsons, Pablo and Isaac Adkins.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, December 7, at New Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Tony Matthews

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Salem UMC General Fund, 155 New Salem Road, Statesville, NC 28625.
