Rev. Arnold Eugene Dulin, Sr.

Rev. Arnold Eugene Dulin, Sr., 78, of Troutman, passed away, Thursday, January 14, 2021 at his residence.

Rev. Dulin was born January 5, 1943 in Cabarrus County, NC and was the son of the late Spencer and Laura Belle Smith Dulin. He was a graduate of Fruitland Bible College and on September 14, 1963, he married Margaret Tidwell Dulin, who survives. He was the former pastor of Shady Grove Church for many years and was currently a member of Morningstar Baptist Church in Cleveland, where he was the Adult Sunday School teacher.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Eugene Dulin (Karen) of Troutman, Phil Dulin of Troutman; one granddaughter, Skyla Gwyn (Luke) of Morganton; four great grandchildren, Braydon, Kaylin, Roni, Ethan and one sister, Shelby Childress of Concord.

Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Morningstar Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Young officiating. Burial will follow in the Shady Grove Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening 6:00-8:00pm at Morningstar Baptist Church.
