Rebecca "Becky" (Whitcomb) Thomas

Rebecca “Becky” Whitcomb Thomas, 69, of Statesville, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at Gordon Hospice House.

Becky was born on March 3, 1953, in Mecklenburg County, NC and was the daughter of the late James Whitcomb and Pauline Loftin Whitcomb. She owned and ran Thomas Bookkeeping and Tax Services for over thirty years. Becky loved her clients as family and would like to thank them for their loyalty. Her and her husband of thirty-nine years, Donnie Thomas, were members of Troutman United Methodist Church.

In addition to her husband, Becky is survived by her three children, Angela Noble (Keith), Lee Thomas (Melina), Courtney Thomas (Wesley Laws), four grandchildren, Zack, Aly, Blake Noble and Carter Laws. Also surviving are her sister, Tyanne Smith (Russell) and brother, Rick Whitcomb (Lura), nieces, Cason and Shelley and nephews, Isaac and Ben.

A memorial service will be held 6:00 pm, Friday, June 3 at Troutman Funeral Home with a visitation one hour prior. Rev. John Parks will be officiating.
