Randall "Randy" Dale Hefner

Randall “Randy” Dale Hefner, 65, of Statesville, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at Atrium Healthcare in Pineville.

Randy was born November 12, 1960, in Iredell County to the late Carl Hugh Hefner and Zetter Stout Hefner. He was a 1980 graduate of North Iredell High School. He loved tractors, mowing, coon hunting and fishing.

In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by brothers, Carl W. Hefner and Bobby Hefner.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Wendy Evans Hefner; sisters, Libby Shoffner (Ronald), Julie Bowers (Starling), Nancy Estes (Jimmy) and Shirley Childs (Norman_; brother, Ronnie Hefner; stepson, Patrick Evans; four step-granddaughters and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, October 24, 2026, in the Troutman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dale Gryder officiating. The family will visit with friends prior to the service from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to help pay for funeral expenses.
