Patsy Stewart

Miss Patricia (Patsy) Ruth Stewart, 82, of Statesville, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at The Greens of Maple Leaf of Statesville, following an illness of two months.

She was born in Iredell County, December 4, 1941, and was the daughter of the late Charlie F. Stewart and Henrietta Honeycutt Stewart. She attended Iredell County Schools and for a number of years, cared for children in her home. She was of the Baptist Faith.

She is survived by two brothers, Ronnie Stewart (Betty) and Steve Stewart (Linda); a special nephew, Charles Fitzgerald, along with a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by five sisters, Margaret Little, Marie Fox, Matoka Stewart, Peggy Ann Stewart, and Charley Faye (Bootsie) Stewart; three brothers, Bud Stewart, Roy Thomas Stewart, and David Stewart.

Patsy had a “sweet tooth”, as sweet as she was. Her favorite was donuts!

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, October 22, in the Chapel of Troutman Funeral Home. The service will be officiated by Charles Fitzgerald. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until time of service. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Statesville.
