Patsy Ruth Kilpatrick Dison

Patsy Ruth Dison, beloved mother, grandmother, “mamaw” and great grandmother, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, December 7, 2025.

She was born on June 14, 1932, in Statesville, NC, and remained there her entire life, where she raised her family. Her beloved husband, Ralph Andrew Dison, preceded her in death in 1999. They were married 50 years. She was a retired Office Manager at W.R. Grace & Co. Patsy was a strong woman of faith, who attended Cochrane Street Baptist Church and, later in life, Holy Trinity Lutheran in Troutman, NC.

Her love for cooking was well known to all who knew her. When you visited, she wanted you to leave well-fed. Her true love and passion were spending time with her family, who all have many cherished and loving memories. She leaves behind her sweet cat Josie, who is 16.

Her son Ralph Andrew Dison, Jr., preceded her in death in 2023, and her daughter, Vickie Jane Dison Kerzic of Augusta, GA, survives. Her 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren also survive.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, December 28, at Taylor Springs Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County, 2341 Simonton Road, Statesville, NC 28625.
