Patricia Josey

Patricia Elaine Breashears (Pat) Josey, 78, of Troutman, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2017 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Patricia was born on May 5, 1939 in Buchanan County, VA to the late Homer Breashears and Gertrude Kirby Breashears. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Karen Elaine Josey and Wendy Kay Josey; three sisters, Quanita Wilson, Freda Mae Butcher, and Norma Ann Summers; brother, James Milton Breashears, and one granddaughter, Sarah Rebecca Allen. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Billy Leonard Josey; daughter, Cindy Josey Allen Absher; sister, Wilda Ann Keene; brother, Joe Homer Breashears; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Patricia was retired from Sub Express. She loved going to her church, Troutman Church of God. She will always be remembered for her love and deep devotion to her family. A visitation will be held at Troutman Church of God on Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Troutman Church of God on Friday, April 21, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev.
