Patricia Elaine Frady

Patricia Elaine Frady, age 79, of Statesville, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025. She was the wife of the late L.C. Frady and the daughter of the late William Glenn and Nellie Hildred Millsaps Blankenship. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Statesville High School. In addition to her husband and her parents, she was also preceded in death by her toy poodle, Lisa.

Elaine was formerly a CNA serving with Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County. She enjoyed reading, taking care of others, and she dearly loved her family.

Elaine is survived by two sons; Ed (Jolaine) Blankenship and Mark (Angie) Faircloth, one daughter; Sandra (Mike) Gregory, 8 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters; Glenda (Larry) Sowers and Becky (Kevin) Vandiver, one brother; Jerry (Rita) Blankenship, 7 nieces and nephews, several cousins, and her beloved Maltese; Chrissy.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 11, 2025, at 2:00 pm in the Troutman Funeral Home Chapel with her brother, Pastor Jerry Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow in the Iredell Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers for the service will be grandsons; Brandon Gregory and Ethan Blankenship, nephews; Jonathan Dillinger and Chris Dillinger, and grandsons-in-law; Dylan Callard and Dalton Key.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Elaine’s memory to Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County, 2341 Simonton Road, Statesville, NC 28625.
