Omaida Randin, 86, of Troutman, went to be with God on Sunday, June 23, 2012 at Carolina’s Medical Center in Charlotte.
She was born on August 3, 1926 in Havana, Cuba to the late Manveh and Zoiha Villar.
She is survived by her son, Jose A. Rosa Jr.; two daughters, Judy O. Mendrick (Richard), and Caridad Z. Randin (Bernard); three sisters, Dulce Villar, Elena Villar, and Chella Villar; three brothers, Tomas Villar, Conrado Villar, Miguelito Villar; nine grandchildren, Christina Creado, Tyrina Vaughan, Shellyn Brown, Vicky Mena, Jade Rosado, Zachary Jacob, Tabatha Rosa, Tatiana Rosa and Jose Rosa, III; and nine great-grandchildren, Gabriella Creado, Dylan Creado, Sidney Brown, Joshua Mena, Josias Mena, Vianny Mena, Evangeline Mena, Angelina Sofia Creado, Valentina Creado, and Valentina Vaughan.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Roberto Randin; one daughter, Rosemarie Randin; two sisters Enriqueta Suarez and Margo Villar; two brothers, Gerardo Villare and Louise Villar.
The family will receive friends Thursday June 27, 2013 from 9:00 to 10:00 am at Troutman Funeral Home Chapel.
Service will follow at St. Therese Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. with the Reverend Dominic Totaro, S. J. officiating. Entombment will be at Iredell Memorial Gardens Mausoleum following the service.
Pallbearers for the service will be Jose A. Rosa Jr., Bernard Jacob, and Richard Mendrick.
Troutman Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Omaida Randin.
