Obdulia "Julia" Martinez Rodriguez, 91, of Sherrills Ford, passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2012 at Palliative Care Center & Hospice of Catawba Valley. She was born in Puerto Rico on September 25, 1921 to the late Pasqual and Augustina Martinez. She is survived by her son, Armando E. Rodriguez, of Arlington, Va; her daughter, Toni Burns (Doug) of Mooresville; two sisters; a brother; nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Armando Rodriguez, Sr.; a son, Armando Rodriguez, Jr.; a daughter, Nydia Rodriguez Harlan; two sisters; and three brothers. No services are planned at this time.
