Norma Jo (Treadwill) Burdiss

Norma Jo Treadwell Burdiss, 87, of Union Grove and formerly of West Virginia, passed away, Friday, March 29, 2024 at the Gordon Hospice House.

Norma was born December 20, 1936 in Barberton, OH and was the daughter of the late Thomas Clark Treadwell and Elizabeth Irene Waygal Treadwell. She attended schools in Fayetteville, WV, was married to the late James Walter Burdiss and worked for several doctor offices in West Virginia as an X-Ray and Lab Technician. She was a very artistic lady, who loved painting, stain glass and riding 4 wheelers.

She is survived by four children, Thomas B. White, Cheryl A. Belcher (Christopher), Michael White (Donna), Kay Lynn White; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren and two sisters, Carolyn Sawyer and Sue Wheeler.

She was preceded in death by three grandchildren, Jarrod White, Jacob B. Winter, Zachary Heath White and one sister, Jean Adams.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
